Peggy has spent many years perfecting the treatment of physical disorders with the health system called Shiatsu. Peggy has studied with several Shiatsu Masters over the years and has brought relief and healing to thousands of patients.

XEROSTOMIA
Xerostomia - also called dry mouth, affects thousands of people, particularly the elderly and those that have undergone some form of radiation therapy of the throat and neck area. It is most often identified with insufficient functioning of the salivary glands. The amount and type of secretion released depends on the activity of both the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system. Peggy has undergone training in the Niemtzow Technique© developed by Richard Niemtzow, M.D. This technique employs acupuncture treatments in a specific manner that leads many Xerostomia patients to get relief and functioning of the salivary glands after only a few treatments. In many cases, people are able to salivate in the first treatment.
